Need to reply to my own post.
There are a variety of resources available on the internet to help you out. One of the websites I would recommend is:
www.cnet.com
This site has just about everything for electronics. Product reviews, recommendations, what to look for, etc. Very informative site.
Other resources like epinions.com or Consumer Reports are cute but lack the refinement and are not good sources for product reviews. The do however give you an insight into what is available and an overview of what to look for.
There is another protocol for wireless routers out there: 802.11a. I don't know much about this protocol, but it should be worth looking into since it is for broadband gaming (ie TT) with multiple players over the internet. _________________ The first principle is that you must not fool yourself - and you are the easiest person to fool. - Richard Feynman
