 My name is pronounced like carry....my fellow Kari pronounces her name like....car-e. 
When I was a kid, the only person that pronounced my name wrong was the pastor at my church. I went to a Finnish-American Lutheran church, and he would call me like my fellow Kari....car-e. I HATED it!! (sorry, Kari, nothing against the way it's pronounced, just that he got my name wrong...) And he'd do it in front of the whole congregration...oof! |
