I don't have facts and figures but I've always wondered about the supposed meteor that killed off the dinosaurs. Dinosaurs were supposed to have lived in hot climates and then boom they are gone. The theory being that a meteor hit and created a "nuclear winter" for eons b/c of the dust clouds that cut the sun from the earth. This created the ice age. How do we know that the meteorites dust clouds aren't vaporizing after all these thousands, millions of years?
