We have only been tracking the Earths changes for a short time with respect to Earth years and we really have no idea how long a cycle is nor do we which one we are in.....
I remember the year when chicken little said the sky was falling.... we had the coldest and longest weather here. Go figure!
Could we do things better? Yep.
Should we stop eating animals? Hey Methane is one of the biggest ones (not cars).
It takes alot of 'gas' (oil) to create 'green gas' (Bio gas from corn / plants) and just recently saw a report saying it ain't that great of a deal but people will buy into being 'green' and wanting to use it....oh yeah ...what about the chemicals used to produce that bio gas? They applied alot of 'stuff' to make sure the plants grew and stayed healthly. I don't think they looked at the big picture from end to end.
I heard about the movie the but didn't see it...
I come here to escape from this type of stuff...I ignored the thread for a while and finally broke down and read it.....
BTW I drove my SUV 6678 miles and used 374.8 gallons of gas this summer.....and loved it  |

As you said, I come here and to TT to escape reality. Hmmm, maybe global warming is the reason my gardens look like the A Bomb went off at my estate??
