| RL Pet Peeve! Parents who bring their kids to stuff (cuz they PAID for it) when the kid is sick. Mine has been in a 2 week swimming camp (basically classes everyday for 2 weeks vs spreading it out for a whole "session") Mine has been complaining of a sore throat for 2-3 days (I have too for 2 days but not bad really). Nothing had really become of it so I just kept giving her cold drinks etc expecting a cold to show up or it to just go away as she seemed fine otherwise. Last night she wakes up in a head to toe sweat crying about her throat. Called swimming to say she won't be there. Oh yeah (they tell me) the other little boy has strep! Ummm thank you sooooo much for the heads up! The first sick kid did miss Tues/Wed but he had been to the doc and knew on Friday! He was there KNOWING he had step on Monday. So now without me knowing it MY kid has exposed the other 2 kids in her class. Little colds are one thing....strep is a whole nother....
(yup...at the doc today we found out we both do have it....Yipppeee! No wonder I've been feeling like crud the last few) _________________ Open: Nanner and Lipstick 129 laff peachy duck. DONE!
