| Well, I've downloaded the ringtone, and I can't hear it. But let no one say I'M gettin old, Oh no... None of THAT! I credit my lack of hearing as a fortunate turn of events. I hear less grumbling from the boys when they are reminded to, "...do your chores (yes they have chores). or "take out the trash", or "...go clean your room". So I'm less likely to fly off the handle for such things. Then again, I remember small-game hunting with dad years ago, and the great crisp sounds of those shotguns ringing in my ears. And, Oh yes, I did a stint for a couple years on boats in the offshore oil patch. Wow, those motors are big AND loud! Ahhh, those were great times... But I can just barely hear them all now... OK, maybe I AM gettin on in the years, ya think?
Jeremy, my soon-16, has a phone. I'm not worried about him, as we threaten to take it away from him because often we want to get him, and it's... OFF! Now Stephen, the 11 yr-old, having learned from his older brother, thinks having a phone is coooooool, grown-up, and wants one worse than a Season's Pass to 6-Flags. He's the one I'm going to have to watch, yep!
