Awwww... I am so sorry that happened to you! 
Unfortunately, no there is no way to cancel a task, but I can promise you it will get better. When I first started I used to get lost in the factory, I was afraid to go in. Now I can run it with my eyes closed. Mints, good grief! My daughter and I used to go in coins just to practice the obstacles and play in there until we hit the first set of cogs, then leave. This is an excellent way though of learning how to do the obstacles. Go to a slow district, depending in the floor you end up starting on there is a lot you can do before hitting your first set of cogs. Then leave and go back and do it again. 
If you are going to advance your toon and cfo, you will eventually get that task done. I was the same way but now jump through there with no effort at all. Hang in there, you can do it! Good luck! _________________  |
