I love cinnamon hazelnut too! 
That is certainly an odd wish. Tough to phrase the answer too LOL. I grant it simply because it's already the way things are. Only they are arguing over the ways they can best be nice to each other and the natural disasters are not hurting any people but bring them all closer together. The lack of harmony in the home is treated as normal since it really is and just dealt with as it should be anyway when you have different people with different likes living in the same household.
