New Guy Weighs in:

I am on my first toon and read about the "Uber" concept and as my gags progressed and my laugh progressed the thrill in any but the toughest buildings started to diminish.I was certain I would stop at 50 laff but I had developed all but the final training for TU(already having Sound,Drop,Squirt,Throw at respectable levels) but felt that this risk that made it thrilling also put an unneeded burden on the other toons I was playing with(unless they were evil to start with) so I gave up on the official "Uber" description and took 3 more laff to finish training my TU.

Who determined what an "Uber" is anyway?I thought Sir Toppem Kat was Uber until I befriended "litter box" who is 16 laff with maxed throw and squirt and he is a hoot to play with(just bring enough TUs to keep him alive). Is my cat's laff too high to be an "uber" now when I see the elevator full of 100+laff toons snubbing all of the cold callers who genuinely want to get started then I don't have any feel for this game.I'll go in with low laff, high laff, any toon that has earned a sellbot suit and the amount of times I had some little clique of "evil toon snobs" let my cat die until I learned to pass after not getting TUed 3 times in a row taught me well that some of us take this stuff a little too seriously and forgot how they got their start with their 120+laff Mega-Toon and are graduating to Ubers to make the game more exciting.Guess what?VP didn't get less exciting.....some of you did Sad

I will call STK a "Quasi-Uber" in deference to toons like "litter box" and play my cat without any more then 53 laff to keep it challenging until I get my Mr.Hollywood disguise but if any of you who have have VPed with me thought I was a pain even with limited experience once I got my gags up then you want this game to be anything but challenging and should have just gotten off the elevator when you saw my n00b self get on.The thrill of winning or losing is what holds my interest and has me renewing my 2nd month of toontown and considering a second account just for my kids and not coasting through with little or no risk in perfectly choreographed toon battle .

I'm a n00b so my opinion doesn't mean much but it takes all kinds and these are my opinions..
