You beat me to it . . . I was on my way over here to start a discussion on the subject.
You are right, with the toons we had in there today it would have been no big deal to wipe out all the cogs. We only had raiders at the tables and were able to clear them out, leaving only 1 cog to fight in the 2nd round. However, there were only 4 Raiders at each table. Did you notice that the table had 8 chairs? When our suits get bigger, those chairs will fill up. So far, I've only been in battles where we've had 6 cogs per table. I've been in several of these battles with toons working smoothly together to feed the cogs, at our best we've left 10 v2.0 cogs for the final battle. How many will we have left when all 8 seats are filled up? How many would you have left with a group not working quite as smoothly? THAT is why many have gotten into the habit of conserving gags at the first battle.
In general, you will find toons that have been in the bigger battles to use one fog and only bring out the tu when laff gets too low to survive the hits. _________________ Open:
