LOL I like MST's strategy too (did I just say that?  ) I didn't realize about the extra table cogs either but now thinking about it when I did a couple of CCG ceo's I was with bigger suits and there were more. The last handful I've done w/o them we've been small enough that we left either none or just one cog left. Never a gag problem here either. Sheeesh how much overkill would you need to leave the first battle with not enough gags left to kill quite a few more cogs? Granted it would usually be pick them off one or two at a time but still....doable.
As for undersounding. I've played both ways. Either works for me. I only worry about TU if I'm left with out a real gag choice (one lures, one TNT's, one caking or storming a smaller cog example) then I'll TU if it's needed vs overkill. Of course TU at the end of the round. Bossy bigger suits. Did another one after our little run last night (Sorry again Tina! Happy to hear you made a new friend  ) BTW you guys rock at teamwork! Anyway the other one we did was only with 4 friends and the other 4 randoms. I wasn't on the side with "the toon" but a friend was. A pretty big suit (I forget exactly what) Very condescending and bossy during the cog round. One of the worst I've seen in a long while. During the boss part (they had 130 laff) they were taking snacks at one hit...so basically at 120ish laff. I golfed then went to the tables and got a few hits since he was extra Forey (is that a word? Another thing I wonder if it gets harder the larger the suits)? Anyway the toon at firsts just random yells whatever the phrase is about taking the snacks because they are falling off the table. We're all going HUH? We don't need them! Umm well that changes after awhile but we can't get them as Mr 100 plus laff left has taken them all. Bottom line is as I'm trying to go from single number laff to enough to take a hit or two I'm hit and go sad. He's blinking red, tall green cat is over 120 laff and from what I hear about 2 hits later they all dance without me. BTW friend checked and guess this toon is pertty well known at TTC (racing cheater etc) OK didn't mean to go off on that rant but just comment about MY way or the highway toons.
Mister Chipper....so sorry toons don't like your soundless! I will admit to sometimes being a sound snob. Mostly for the hurry factor. When you just want to get it over with but boss has us all (hopefully) rethinking that. Example is I did a 3 story golf course thingy last night. Toon jumps on with us at last second. He's sounless but otherwise good gags. I comment...uggg he's soundless (we wanted to hurry and ceo again) It actually went as fast if not faster than a totally sounded run. Sure we used more sound but with the ball game we managed to pick up enough sound that kept us going for awhile. The soundless would get the V skele. Worked perfectly! Now that I've played a course that way I may be a bit spoiled on the use more sound with 3 toons and let the 4th take out the V. Elevator shuffle. Same run last night. It was actually funny (in a TT sort of way). We were only in a semi busy dist so it wasn't like River or Summit. About a dozen or so toons hanging around. Friends and I hop on the elevaor first and the rest fill in. One jumps.....of course they all jump and nobody takes their place. (sorry not ready for a 4 toon ceo yet Talk about running out of gags)! Anyway so we all jump off too. Friends and I jump back on again....same darn toons jump on with us. Same one toon jumps and the rest follow....AGAIN! Repeat with SAME toons and they all stay this time. So ummmm with 4 of us paying close attention the comment was made "aren't these the same toons we had in the last 2 elevators before the shuffle" Yup we all agreed they were. What was the point?????????
