Slow and steady . . .
Ricky maxed his drop with a (then) non-sf in the factory. We were both working drop (and needed merits), so we took turns helping each other knock-back and drop. This was before I had any sfs or visited any forums, it was awesome how well we were able to coordinate thru speedchat.
Of course, that was in the days before constant invasions. It's good to remember that factories still give double skill 24/7, every cog, every district. Bullion mints give triple. I find that unmaxed drop accuracy is much higher on factory cogs than in a mint. Especially on fat cogs - bigger targets . There's no skill if ya miss!
Another thing is to take advantage of any opportunity that presents itsself (as long as you aren't endangering or angering others. So if you find yourself speeding through a factory with toons in a huury and they have 2 eles out on a set with a 6 - drop him. All those times you find a chance to get in 10 skill really do add up.
I'm working on maxing drop for my next VP uber now. I haven't gotten really serious with him yet, but when I have 5-10 minutes to kill I break him out and drop safes on unsuspecting cogs in the street. He's up to 3000 skill and has never gone in a drop-working building. _________________ Open:
