| Here is what I remember about quakes....
I lived in Columbia, MO. 2 hrs west of St Louis. There is a fault line there. I was told there is a fault comparable to San Andreas in Missouri. Does it go N/S or E/W? I don't know? In CA, the is Hayward Fault....it runs straight throw Fremont, Newark and Hayward (you guessed it.) It is wider and deeper than San Andreas, but not as long.
