| This morning when I turned on the tv, I just caught the end of a report and heard earthquake and felt in Illinois. I thought No, NOT possible! Also thought, how ironic because some of my kids and I were watching a weather/storm show JUST LAST NIGHT, and I had sarcastically said to them, "Well... I am fine and dandy here in the Midwest... I'd rather take my chances on getting sucked outta my basement than the earth opening, falling in and then being crushed... Atleast a tornado would be an E-ticket ride out and you guys will eventually find me in a neighbors tree and can give me a proper burial and you can come visit." Should have seen the 10 year old, hands on hips turn to me and say, "Soooo... There are not earthquakes in the midwest?" Sheesh... When did she learn how to do the one-lifted-eyebrow-mama-glare?
