| Banana Brain : | you should enable port triggering in your router for ports 6112 and 6667. You would do so by accessing your routers configurations (typically accessing the router by typing 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 in the address line) and look for port triggering under applications and gaming (or something similar to that) Since there are so many routers out there, if you post your specific model, I'll try to find the exact directions for your router to enable port triggering.
Also, you must make sure that you have the latest firware for your router. I can check this for you once I have your model number. |
Hi BB, I was wondering if you could help me now. We had to replace our router after the lightning strike. It's working on wireless but TT disconnects while on wireless. I can't remember what we did to configure the old router (same model) but it worked great.
I called D-Link and gave them these port numbers and he said he needs to know which is TCP port and which is UDP. Do you know the answer to this? (I'm asking TT too, but you know how they are, LOL)
It's a D-Link DGL 4300. It lists the firmware version as 1.7 , 10/05/2006.
Thanks for any help you (or anyone) can give me. _________________ Lady Zippy Boingenpretzel, 127, no trap, Stinky lure! MH 50/RB 50/BW 50/MM Shapely, sweet and pink
